Snow Day!

We had such a fun, relaxing time last week when it snowed.  I feel like God gives us snow to slow our life down for a while.  It gives us time to look around at His beauty and spend time with family and friends.  It gives us appreciated days off from work, school, homework, and making lunches 🙂  It was a perfect time to spend time together sledding, hiking through the snow covered woods, talking and playing with sweet neighbors, enjoying hot chocolate together, and just relaxing.  Here are a few more photos I took our time together.

As soon as we got home, we started building this snow man.

Our Golden Retriever, Scout, had an absolute BLAST playing every day in the snow!  He would run through, sticking his head in the snow, did, slide on the icy road, and chase us up and down the hills as we were sledding.  When we got inside later that night, he was snoring and absolutely worn out!

I hope everyone enjoyed the snow days.  Who knows, maybe we will manage to get a few more before Spring arrives 😉
